ABOUT THE VETERANS OF LAKE BARRINGTON SHORES

Our Mission

To foster patriotism, love of our nation’s flag and to promote appreciation of our Country, US Veterans, their spouses and children. Further, to maintain in perpetuity, a Memorial Garden located within the Lake Barrington Shores grounds to honor all veterans that have served in the United States Armed Forces.

Who we Are

The Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores is a charter club authorized by the Lake Barrington Community Homeowners Association. The organization was charted in 2004.

Facts about the Organization

The Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as exempt under section 501(c)19 of the IRS code. Contributions and donations are tax exempt.

The organization's EIN # 27-121114

The Veterans of Lake Barrington Shores is recognized by the Illinois Department of Revenue as being organized and operating for charitable purposes, consequentially sales of any kind to the organization are exempt from the Retailer's Occupation Tax, the Service Occupation Tax (state & local), Use Tax and the Service Use Tax in Illinois.
